NOLAN DNA PROJECT

I have signed up to participate in the Nolan DNA Project. The target date for my results to be posted on the web is 17 September 2005. This e-mail is a request for anyone interested in participating to join the Nolan DNA Project. The more people involved in the project the better handle we will have on our families total genealogical picture. I believe there are three possibly four distinct and separate Nolan genealogical lines coming out of Ireland and southwest England. My Nolan line can be tracked to Galway and Mayo Co. Ireland in the 14th century, but there is also a Pierce Noland line that can be tracked to Mayo Co. in the early 17th century. With each persons participation we will gain a more precise determination of the true nature of our common surname which ever variation of the name your family has chosen to use.
