Carol, at your convenience...found a William H.? NOLIN who
was supposedly b. April 1850 in Indiana. He may even have had a twin brother who went by N.C. NOLIN. On 1880 Fremont Co.,Iowa, census, N.C. was married to Alice & living in Prairie Twp. On same census, about 2 weeks prior, William was married to Julia, and living in Sidney Twp. On the 1895 Iowa State Census -Oto Twp.,Woodbury County, William & Alice are enumerated as husband & wife. Then again on 1900 Wayne Co.,Nebraska Census - Strahan Twp., William & Alice are there with 4 living children of the 6 born to them. Lastly, I find this couple, minus children, on 1920 Whitman Co.,WA, Census - Pullman Twp. On this census, William states his parents were both born in Ohio. Any idea to what NOLIN family William belongs?
