I might be able to help you. I am not exactly sure what you are looking for. I take it by your name that you are descendant of Onesime Demers and Anna Nolette. Edwin and family left Quebec and went to R.I. I will check to see if
I can find any records on his entry to the U.S. but being in the late 1800's I don't think I will find. The name
Wawanolette or Wawanolet was used on the reservation. Once off the reservation the Abenaqui people just used Nolet or Nolette for many different reasons. Let me know if there is anything I can help you with.
