His mother, Rebecca Elizabeth was married to a Harris and a Wilson before marrying Mr Noles. On the 1900 Lamar, Randolph, ALA census it has Lewis Noles with wife, Rebecca. Stepchildren of Lewis Noles are listed as Della Wilson, age 21, Posie Harris age 12, Ola Harris age 10, and Mary K Harris age 3. So, did Posey change his name or was he adopted by Lewis Noles??
