I have a couple of copies of sheets from this book, which I believe I saw at the Library of Congress years ago. The number I copied is CS71N774.
She states that "George Nolen (or Nolan) was a native of Virginia, who served with the Virginia Revolutionary forces in 1775, was the father, in 1780, of a son named James, who married Almedia Florence and settled in Wilkes County, Georgia. (I have wondered if this is incorrect, since there were Nolans/Nolens in Wilkes Co., NC.) To this union were born three sons and three daughters, of whom the eldest child was James W. Nolen or Nolan, who removed to Alabama and thence to Louisiana."
