I have an original 5”x7” photograph of “Sherman and Margaret Rainbolt”, taken in about 1920, possibly at their Aug 1921 wedding, which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. Each of them looks to be around age 20.
On the back of the photo is stated that Sherman was the son of Jonathan Rainbolt, and he was born March 26, 1900 – and that Margaret was born “2-8-1903”. That information led me to SSDI, which confirmed the DOB of Sherman Earl Rainbolt, and said he died Jun 1981 in Floyd Co., IN.
In 1900 census, Sherman lived with parents in Orange Co., IN. By 1910, the family lived Washington Co., IN, and by 1920, in Martin Co., IN. In 1930, Sherman lived with wife Margaret and their children, and with her father, Lawrence Nolen, in Evansville.
