Hi Marty I will email you all I have on the family my scanner is down right now but when I get up and runing I'll send you a copy of Richard's civil war papers. Richard C. Nolen was the father of William T. Nolen The only boy I know of that stayed in Tennessee would have been William A. Nolen. David Taylor who was the second son first went to Arkansas from 1870? until 1891 then he moved to Oklahoma. James P. Nolen and William T. Nolen went to Tarrent County, Texas with their father Richard they were on the 1880 census. In 1900 they were all in Husts County, they later went to Rains County. I will look for something on William A. in Tennessee.
Terry
