Thanks, Marilee. Your note does shine evidence on the connection between William Noland and the family of Valentine Holyfield II b. 1721-1726 and Valentine III b. 1756. Unfortunately, Henny Noland didn't marry either.
Note, though, that Elizabeth Allen before she married William Fagerson with William Noland best man, she had married a brother to Valentine III, again with William Noland as best man, shown below.
