There is a reference to Georg Nogel in The Ellis Family of of Clinton Co., OH. Johan Jacob Allis immigrated in 1749 to Lancaster Co., PA. His sons, Abraham & Jacob, returned homein 1780 following expiration of their enlistments in PA Militia and m. the Yoel/Joel sisters Katharine & Margaret, grandchildrren of Georg Nogel & Maria Louisa. The sisters had inherited land in the Back Creek valley of Berkeley Co., VA on the death of their Henry Yoel in 1779. Check my message 463 on the Montgomery Co., MD GenForum.
