I recently ran across some info on Ezra Banghart Noggle (or Nogle) that may be of interest. In a 1920 "Daughters of the American Revolution Magazine" p.649 there is a querry that states:
8955. Vineyard-Wanted, gen of Nancy Vineyard who m. Jacob Noggle of Ohio or Pa.
(a)Noggle- Wanted, date and place of birth and Revolutionary service of Ezra Noggle, father of Jacob Noggle mentioned above.

Not sure where the info came from, but it seems to pretty definitely state that Ezra Noggle was the father of Jacob Noggle (b. 1768-1841, lived in Warren County Ohio). Ezra was also the father of Joseph Noggle, who was the father of Jacob Noggle of the Huron County, Ohio Noggle line (this info is listed in biographical accounts of George Washington Noggle b. 1839, who was the son of the Huron County Jacob Noggle).

I am still looking in to the info to see if I can find additional support. Anyone out there have any further info on Ezra they could share? Ezra is also listed in one obscure reference that lists Revolutionary War pensioners living in Maine, but I don't have access to the original source. Ezra Nogle does show up in the American Genealogical-Biographical Index, Vol. 125, p. 392, with a birth year of circa 1750.

Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks!
