Much of my research has centered on the family of Sarah E. Moore Noell, one of six children of William Jones Moore and Sarah Wright of Buckingham and Prince Edward counties, Virginia. William J. Moore grew up in Powhatan Co., VA. Sarah Wright (b. Cumberland Co., VA) was the daughter of Mary DeJarnette & Archibald Wright, her 2nd husband. I'm presently in Texas, but expect to be in VA later this fall(2008). Most of my papers are in VA; when I have access to them, I'd be glad to help with the Moore & Wright families. On the Internet a few years ago I found some watercolor sketches of the Hotel in Christiansburg that Sarah Wright Noell and her husband Jesse A. Noell owned and operated in the 1860s. Perhaps a Google search will help locate the pictures if still "out there."
