Looking for descendants of Nathaniel W. Noell (b. 7/11/1857, Christiansburg, VA.; d. 11/11/1937 in Cisco, TX), who would be willing to share family info. and pictures. I believe I have traced his lineage back to the 1500s. Nat's wife's name was Louise. They had 3 children, Edgar, Nat & Ada Louise. Ada Louise married Aubrey Fields & lived in Gainesville, TX.
My mother, Frances Hanrahan, has family ties to this family that have not been clearly defined & was hoping to find some genealogical answers. She visited this family regularly as a child in Cisco. Nat died when my mother was 10 yrs old & never understood how they were related. My mother's maternal grandmother's name was Fannie Mae Noell Rowney (Noell = maiden name; b.10/1876). She died prematurely from pregnancy complications sometime from 1901-1910 (burial unknown). My hunch is that Fannie is the daughter of Nat. Noell from a previous marriage. I have a couple of pictures of Fannie. I hope to confirm that Fannie & Nat are related & how they are related.
