Dick-i cannot help you at all. contrarily, i need help. I am trying to track the ancestors of George Noell (sister-in-law's father)who lived and worked in Charleston, WVA and had three daughters(two of which were twins). He was a chemist for Union Carbide in South Charleston.
Can you offer any guidance? Thanks very much in advance.
Also i presume that Nowe of 1530 is the common ancestor of all the Noel, Noell etc of today and i also assume he was French. There was a Nicolas Noel who sailed with John Adams from the Colonies to France around 18oo or so (in McCulloch's bio on JA)
