Thanks for making contact. I was trying to chase down a family story about my Bradbury ancestors being connected with a major brickworks in Erdington. From what I've since learned there seems to have been no family connection with the Nock family but there was a close friendship. My great great grandfather Edwin Bradbury was executor and trustee of the estate of William Nock (1826-1904). They were both born in Derby and may have known each other from those days. They were also both fond of Donegal. That William Nock's grandson William (born 1880) was in turn the executor of Edwin's Will when he died in 1916, and is referred to on the death certificate as Edwin's nephew.

Have you been able to find any trace of William Nock before his marriage to Ann Nock in 1852?
