For those interested, Gallatin's daughter, Sonora Jane Noblitt, was interviewed in 1934, she was 88 years old at the time. There is also some information on his activities guring the Civil War. He was a captain in the Caldwell County Minute Men for Union Army (Wolf Hunters. I noticed a posting for Gallatin's grave. He is also buried with all three of his wives. :-)) Anyone interested in this little write up, just email me.

Lynda
