Hello Mr. Ocheltree, I was sent this information from someone that had seen the same entry about Henry Clay Noblett you did. She says that Henry Clay's parents are Thomas and Elizabeth (Casey) Noblett. She said that the children are William Berry, 1827; Ira Mandeville, 1828; Elizabeth Adaline 1832; Myra Jane, 1834;(she says some sources show this child as Mary Jane); Benjamin Franklin 1838, Henry Clay 1843(My uncle shows Henry Clay born January 14, 1842 in Lanes Prairie, MO); and a John A. with no birthdate, she says she feels that John A is just older or just younger than Henry Clay.
Then she shows Henry's grandparents as William and Margaret Barr Noblett. He was born 1770-80 and died in 1844 in Maries Co. MO. (It was still Osage Co. then) She was the daughter of Caleb Barr, who died in TN in 1823.
Henry Clay is my great-grandfather on my paternal side. The lady that sent me this information is a great-granddaughter of Ira Mandeville Noblett.
All this information is new to my research, I will be meeting and exchanging information with this lady in a couple weeks. I emailed her last night and asked her if she had ever exchanged information with you, but I have not gotten an answer from her yet. If you would like to email me directly you can use my address of I don't know who William's parents are.
Thanks for your interest, are you a descendent of these people? See ya, Melaine
