Thanks for all of your valuable information. I know that this is one of those families that we may never be able to figure out. I am convinced, however, that my Elizabeth Noblett has to be a close relative of William and Thomas Noblett of Osage Co. MO. Otherwise, there would be no plausible reason for Franklin and Henry Noblett to be living with Henry Skaggs in 1850. You also answered another question for me that I had failed to mention in my other message - and that was the mention in your gencircle website of the will of Margaret Smith. I could not figure out who she was and you answered that for me in the above message. Maybe you just "read my mind". I will keep looking for clues and will keep in touch.
