Looking for any info on Charles Orah Noable and his family.
He was born 01-Apr-1886 we think in Knobel, Clay, Arkansas.
What we do know is his father is Charles A. Noble born in Illinois in 1864. His mother is unknow but her name is believed to be something like Carrie Amanda Elliott of Arkansas. Really not sure what her name was. He had a brother John Andrew born in Knobel, Arkansas on 31-Jul-1883 and died in Pascola, Pemiscot, Missouri 01-May-1923. Orah and John's mother died when John
was about 3 or 4 yrs of age. Orah we think was married to a woman who had been married before. Her name was Mary Ida Elizabeth Gill Woodruff. Woodruff being her married name. Ida and Orah had several children. Some of the names are Herman Jewel, B 1917 in Arkansas and D: 1987 in New York. One of the other's are Nevadean, Their were several other children. Charles Orah left his family around 1930-33 and was headed to California and never heard from again. His kids were send to live with a grandmother some place in southeast Arkansas. Do not know if Ida left with him or not. If we found the right WWI Registeration Card it shows Orah living in Etowah, Mississippi, Arkansas in 1917. A lot of the Noble clan lived in that area and Dunklin Co. Missouri area back then and still do. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
