There has to be some connection here, with Iowa Noble and Sherwood. William and Tryphena Noble came to Iowa from Illinois in 1871, that is when they bought 120 acres of land near State Center, Iowa. Their son Hubert married Jemima Sherwood, had 8 children in 12 years, then Jemima died. she was my Great-grandmother.
Iowa, Noble, Sherwood. There is probably a connection?
