Hello everyone,

The below info makes me believe that Johns(t)on Nobles is Alexander Johnson Nobles as listed in a land sale with Thomas Fry. See further below.
If anyone can confirm this connection with additional info, you would be a great help.

January Term, 1830

THOMAS FRY ET AL
vs.
JOHNSTON NOBLES

Petition for Partition of Land

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, JOHNSTON NOBLES, is not a resident of this State. It is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the North Carolina Journal notifying the said non-resident to be and appear at our next Court to be held for the County of Montgomery at the Court House in
Lawrenceville, on the first Monday in April next, then and there to plaed answer or demur to this petition filed. Otherwise judgment will be taken pro confesso and the matter heard ex parte as to them.

Page 294 - 23 January, 1836 - Jacob Bullen and Tabitha(Noble) Bullen his wife to James Smith - $200.00 - 107 acres - on the South West side of the Yadkin River on both sides of Clover Fork Creek - joining Thomas Fry - Also the one third part of the fourth division marked and known as Alexander Johnson Nobles part - 107 acres
"also we Thomas Fry and Viney Fry doth by these presents legally bargain and exchange to the aforesaid James Smith ----- all our full and legal interest of the last mentioned fourth division it being A. J. Nobles part, we being heirs at law and entitled to one third part of said division as by agreement with the said Smith and Fry."
