Henry Noble, Union County, Illinois early 1800s

I am trying to find a Henry Noble born abt 1800 in (possibly) North Carolina, County unknown.
He is found in Union County Illinois in the 1820 and 1830 censuses.
This surname is often spelled as either Nobles or Nobel.
Henry named his older two sons William and Riley.
We have a tough brick wall here.
About 1804 in neighboring Jackson County, Illinois, there was a Henry Noble, father of Rebekah. Rebekah was married to a Jesse Grigg who may have come from Rutherford Co, NC.
It is also quite possible that this Noble family resided at any one time in Georgia or South Carolina.
Does anyone have information which would include names of those who came to the Georgia area with James Oglethorpe?
Any information on any of the above would be much appreciated.
Linda
