I found a note from an "R.W. Noble" in an old book I bought (copyright 1876, but probably later edition/printing)

"My Dear Madam, I desire to renew our prolonged friendship (signed) R.W. Noble"

I can scan and send along. Willing to give it to a rightful owner, or anyone else with interest.
