Chris-You mentioned a Mary Ann Nobes in your message. I've just started researching this surname on my husband's side. The only info I have is a Mary Ann Nobes who died in 1881. She was married to Samuel Oakley. She was possibly from British Columbia, but not sure. Let me know if you think its the same person. Thanks. Teri
