Largest ranch owner in Union Co. in 1930-1945 era?

I was told once that Thomas H. Rixey, president of the Farmer and Stockman's Bank (in at least part of the time period mentioned above), owned the largest ranch in acreage at the time - about 11 sections - in Union County. Can anyone tell me whether or not he was the largest ranch owner - or maybe he was among the top five largest ranch owners?

I would like to quote this in a story I am writing about my Altman grandparents, and need to verify the accuracy of this statement. My grandfather, B. B. Altman, helped run the Rixey Ranch and at one time was partners with T. H. Rixey, owning sheep and cattle together. My grandparents lived on what was called the "Rixey Ranch" over near Perrico Creek, and I spent many happy hours on this ranch back in the 1940's and early 1950's. Thanks for any help or place to search to verify this information.
