inez's family went back to germany in the 1800's; the connection would have to be through mansker. there used to be a community of masker, which no longer exists, but, i believe, was near thomas and sedan. a relative of this farmily is hweiland@bellsouth.net. you might give him a shout, also his wife is from that area. dbit
