Hi Sue! It is so good to hear from you! And no, I didn't get any other messages from you before this one. You have just made my day with all of this wonderful information! I am making note of the other child that Reyes and Charles had as I didn't know about this one and yes, I would love to see a picture of Pacifica.

As for Charles, there was a pedigree sheet for a Charles Beatty Newton born in Bucks County, Pennsylvania to a Jonah Newton b. 3 May 1787 in Vermont and Sarah Vanderveer b. 9 Mar 1788 in Somerset County, New Jersey. They had 8 children and Charles was next to the last with a Robert Newton being the youngest of their children. The only info it gave about Charles Beatty Newton was b. 28 Jul 1822 in Bridgeport, Bucks County, Pa. and d. sometime after 1903. Is this the right family, do you think?

I saw somewhere, I think it was a site about early Costilla County Pioneers, that Charles was a veteran of the Mexican American War. Do you, by chance have any record of that? Again, Sue, I am so thankful to you for getting back with me on this. You have been very helpful. By the way, are you connected by family to this Newton Family? They are my fiance's family through Benito Newton b. 1916 to Alfred Newton (son of Carlos and Emilia) and Angelita Trujillo.

Please keep in touch. :) -Tonya
