I believe the name of the 'town' was Lloyd. It is located about 4 or 5 miles east and about 15 miles south of Tucumcari, NM (in Quay County). I found it on an old map of New Mexico.

I also looked up Andrew B. Simpson on the 1920 and 1930 census. He is located in Lloyd, Quay County with his wife Martha in the 1920 census. He is 70 and she is (I believe it says) 66.

In the 1930 census he shows up in the town of Tucumcari as 80 years old living with his wife Mattie(apparently he remarried after the death of Martha). Mattie was 56. They lived on Adams Street.

Both the 1920 and 1930 census indicate the he was born in Missouri.

By the way, I believe that Redondo is not a town but the name of a mountain. "Redondo Mesa" is what is called on a recent map.

Hope this helps.

John Fletcher
