Vera was a single woman raising two daughters in Portales, NM in the 40's and 50's. She married John Edward Wright from Lincoln County, NM in 1956. He was 70 and she was 40 when they married. If someone can locate a divorce record, we would be eternally grateful. Mr. Wright married a woman named Emma (possibly last name Sipes) after marrying Vera and they lived in California and then Quilcene, WA till their deaths.
Any information about Vera and Mr. Wright divorcing and a marriage license of Mr. Wright and Emma would be greatly appreciated. Also, any photographs of Mr. Wright or info about Vera and Mr. Wright would be awesome.
