On Tuesday morning last, the Old Abe Company,commenced running the N
Homestake mill on their ore.We are informed the mine is looking fully as
well as ever.
Married; On the 4th at the residence of the bride's mother,Mrs
Melinda,Bonito,George Hawkins of Bonito to Miss Cora Melinda,late of White
Oaks.
A Robinson of the firm Brown and Manzader of Las Vegas,spent a couple
of days in the city last week,interviewing in a business way. He left
Sunday.
Mrs J C Eurbank P M (postmaster?) of Parsons city paid us a pleasant
visit on Wednesday. Mrs Eubank has been the guest of Mrs James,the past
few days and returned home on Wednesday.
Sheriff Roberts paid White Oaks a business visi last Friday in the
company of Dr Bearup. They returned to Lincoln Saturday.
Rev Dr Lane, Peter Reid,J Reid, Ed Keely and Dan Diehl left on Tuesday
for Mexico on a prospecting excursion.
