Henry Lucien Warren b. Aug 21, 1837; m. Mary L. Warren, March 13, 1857, who d. Albuquerque, NM, Dec. 3, 1891. She was his cousin, dghtr of Ansel Warren. Henry became Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Montana. Judge Frank B. Reynolds, who was also in that same Supreme Court years later. ( Note: Ansel\'s Mother is a Reynolds).

Henry was " very prosperous and was the first lawyer in New Mexico."

Henry and Mary had: Viola E., b. Marysville, MO, June 24, 1858;m. Nov. 1, 1881, at Leadville, Wm. M. McCleary, d. March 20, 1889, St. Louis. Left one child, Bessie Warren McCleary, b. July 4, 1888. Jennie Lee, b. July 7, 1861, Quincy, IL, d. 1862. Henry Lucien, b. Feby 17,1864, Quincy, IL., d. Oct. 12, 1865. Paul, b. April 17,1866.

Found in newspaper:
JUDGE HENRY L. WARREN, OF SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO, ARRIVED IN THIS CITY SUNDAY, ON HIS WAY HOME FROM WASHINGTON. HE WILL REMAIN UNTIL THIS EVENIING

March 29, 1890 Deming
Headlight newspaper for Deming, New Mexico:

\"Judge Henry L. Warren, attorney of the Deming Sierra Madre and Pacific,
(RR?) arrived on last Wednesday\'s train from the East.\"

He was also reported \"spending several days in town\" in the March 7, 1891
issue.

The November 11, 1893 edition reports that he is named to the Governor\'s
Irrigation Commission

"On July 17, 1896, Henry L. Warren of Bernallilo County, New Mexico Territory was one of the three incorporators of the Gulf, Rio Grande & Pacific Railway and Construction Co. who filed papers with the Secretary of New Mexico in Sante Fe. This corporation was to operate out of Deming in Grant
Co., NM...."

He was also listed as Judge Henry L. Warren of Albuquerque in the same
article.
