My gGrandfather died and is buried in the sunset section of the Deming Cemetery Luna County,however NM says they have no record of his death and I am dead ended. Was there a mortician by the name of Rawson in Deming in 1918 ? and where would his records have been stored. They also tell me the inscription on the headstone reads IT Thornton. His name was Joseph Thomas Thornton. Desperately need your help. I'm patient, but 15 years is a long time and Upstate New York is a far distance. Thanking you in advance for your help.
