Plainview, NM was the oldes town to dot the Llano Estacado of eastern Chaves County. It was located 15 miles northeast of Lovington, NM. As far as a cemetary, I am not sure, the info I have is out of a book on Lea County history that I have. If you need any further info, let me know, there are some people mentioned in this article and some info about stores and businesses also. Thanks
