Hello,
My name is Paul Hilburn and my grand dad RE Hilburn created Hilburn City in Lea county N.M.in the early 50"s when he built the Hilburn Cotton Gin # 2 and also built a small grocery store for the customers. Very quickly a bar was built and originally was called the 200 Club and latter was called the Cotton Club.

I was raied and lived in the McDonald community livin g during the summer on my Da's ranch and cotton farm 7 miles west of McDonald and during the fall we lived in McDonald so my Dad could run the Hilburn Cotton Gin #1.
If you get this and hav any questions please ask them.
Paul Hilburn
