Mae Elizabeth Dixon Barnhart

I am trying to find information on the parents of Mae (May) Elizabeth Dixon because I believe she was the younger sister of my grandmother, Anna Elizabeth Dixon. Anna Elizabeth was born in Nashville about 1883. She married Fielding Ashby Bruner on 8/16/1900 in Lawrence County, Arkansas. She died in Freeport, IL, on 9/30/1956 and was living with my late mother, Anna Mae Bruner. She had a brother, Brooks Dixon, and at least one other sister, Mrs. Tom Bryant. Mae (May) was staying with Fielding and Anna per the 1910 census and her estimated birth year is 1896.

I know from family history that my great-aunt Mae (May) lived in New Mexico and was married to a Barnhart. Also, obituary information that I found at Browning Genealogy, Evansville, Indiana http://browning.evcpl.lib.in.us/ indicates that she had a surviving sister, Mrs. Chas Barnhardt (misspelled) of Santa Rosa, NM. So Iím thinking I have the right sister.

I have not been able to determine who are the parents of Anna Elizabeth Dixon by other methods and queries to other state forums for Anna, but I'm hoping someone knows something about Mae (May) Elizabeth Dixon Barnhart in New Mexico. I have seen her first name spelled as Mae and also as May. However, I believe the correct spelling is Mae.

Thank you.
