John Hubert Bain
John H. Bain died in Arbuckle on Monday, Aug. 23, 2004 at age 72.
Mr. Bain was born April 14, 1932 in Hope, NM to the late Ad and Ruth Chambers Bain. He had been a Yolo County resident for 14 years. He had worked as a construction supervisor in the Bay Area for 30 years and was a member of Carpenter's Local No. 22, San Francisco for 52 years. He was also a member of the Full Gospel Faith Assembly of Colusa.
Survivors include Mr. Bain's wife, Laura Barnes Bain of Arbuckle, sons Marshall Bain and his wife Gretchen of Castro Valley, Clifton Bain and his wife Liane of Redwood City, and Marvin Mason of Roseville; daughter Dawn Riazzi and her husband Steve of Antelope and step-children Diana, Gary, Lois, Bruce and Steven. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his daughter Pamela LoFranco and brothers James "Pete" Bain, Val Bailey and Wayne Bailey.
The family requests memorials in memory of Mr. Bain be directed to Yolo Hospice, P.O. Box 1014, Davis, 95617.
Services: Viewing and visitation is scheduled for 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27. and the funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28 at Kraft Bros. Chapel, 175 Second St., Woodland. Internment will follow immediately after at Arbuckle Cemetery. Kraft Bros. Funeral Directors of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.
