Hi. I know that Springer was part of Raton then. I went through every page of Dawson area, but couldn't find anything. Maybe I missed it. I did get the church records on my grandma and her sisters baptism and confirmation from LDS (St. Joseph's Church in Springer). And I have my grandmas birth certificate, so I know they were in that area. My grandma was born in 1911, so she is not on the census, but her sister Margaret was born in 1909.
If you could, just tell see what page they are on. I have access through and can go from there if I at least know the page number. Parents: Alex Fodor, Julia (Takacs) Fodor.
The baptism record showed some other Takacs's in the area. I really appreciate any info you can find... I am at a brick wall with her.
