I am seeking information on the industries in Raton in WWII. My great grandfather, John Henry Kreis, appears to have left Los Angeles, CA after 1941 and gone to Raton. I don't think that he knew anyone there. I believe maybe he went to work as a machinist or engineer in a war industry.
He died in Raton on 8 Oct 1945. Any help would be most appreciated.
