Hi Juanita,
I saw your latest posting in Rootsweb but for some
reason I never seem to be able to log in. So, I
checked for your in this forum.
First, did Tomas/Thomas Sanchez have a social security
number? If he did, you can write to the SS Administration
and request a copy of the ss application. That should have
his mother's birth name on it--it case it wasn't Sanchez.
If he knew his father, his name will be on it too.
You said that you are certain that Manuel Sanchez was not
her husband. But I find a Tomas living with them in the
1900 census and his birthdate is given as Dec. 1894.
I also found them in the 1910 census and he is listed
as Thomas. Juanita is spelled like Janette but I'm sure it's her. One more question, who did Tomas marry???
I'll keep my eye out for any information relating to
Juanita Sanchez when I visit the genealogy libarary.
