Gloria Thank you but I don't always find what I am looking for either. I use GOOGLE a lot and go from there. I use the New Mexico Genealogical Society website to find what church records have been filmed. www.nmgs.org Re the death records for San Jose Parish, Mosquero, 1908-1920 I don't know why they were not filmed. Perhaps write the church and ask or e-mail archive@archdiocesesantafe.org (Archdiocese of Santa Fe)and maybe they will have an answer. There must be a reason that the death records of those years were not filmed as the baptisms/marriages were back to 1894. Perhaps they are missing? As for La Ceja, I don't know what happened to the place! Maybe it was absorbed by Mosquero? Not in any of the Ghost Town sites or books either. ??? I suspect that the parish priest from Mosquero "rode a circuit" and performed baptisms at the smaller villages in the area just like the priest from Raton did back during that era. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year & Good Luck in your quest! Notify Administrator about this message?
