Death in 1904 San Antonio, NM

In searching for the location for San Antonio, NM I find there are two populated places with that name. One in Socorro County and one in Bernalillo County.

John Lewis/Louis/Luke/Lou/Lew Casner (b.1851) is supposed to have died in San Antonio in 1904 and is supposed to be buried in the cemetery there. The story goes he was working on a cattle drive to MT when he died.

Is there anyone reading this message board who actually lives in Bernalillo County in the town where the courthouse is located that would be willing to check at the courthouse to see if there is a death index for 1904 (and perhaps 1903-1905) and see if John Lewis Casner is listed. If located I would like to obtain a copy of the death certificate (or at a minimum a copy of the page of the death index where his name is listed). If found, I will gladly reimburse for expense of copies, postage, and some mileage.

I have been searching for this person for 14 years and this is the first viable clue I've bumped into. On our traveling vacations over the years I have personally searched several counties but not these two counties.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.
