I have JOHN TEEL, b. 1751 in Middlesex County, N.J. John Teel's history and descendants are fairly well known in part because he served in the PA Line during the Revolutionary War and lived a very long life. He had two wives (Susan Hand and then Catherine Vandermark) and his Revolutionary War pension file refers to 23 children. However, I have not seen reference to a son named William Teel. John Teel is believed to have been the son of a Palatine emigrant named Cornelius Teele. But I remain less than confident about that. If you find a connection, I have extensive information about John Teel and most of the children of John Teel and Catherine Vandermark, and their descendents, which I would readily share.
