Nathaniel Hart

My 4G Grandfather Is Nathaniel Hart who died in Sussex County, Tranquility, NJ about April 16,1816. His wife was Lydia Redman. History books say they moved to Tranquility from "South Jersey". I have assumed that Nathaniel was part of the Hart family that included John Hart, the Signer. My best guess is that he was a son of Benjamin Hart, whose father was Ralph Hart (a cousin of John the Signer). My line to Nathaniel is completely documented, but I have hhit a stone wall re documentation into the South Jersy Hart family. Can someone help me????
