Hi, in doing my genealogy I have run across ancestors who either moved or were removed to what was called Log Gaol, Hardwick, Sussex County, New Jersey, Does anyone out there have any idea as to what this was or where it was? Was it a jail, a fort, a town? I can find Sussex County but not Hardwick or anything about a "Gaol" This was in the 1600-1700 time span. Thank you for any info about this,
