CHILDREN OF GUERIN/DOTY marriage of 1805 NJ

Looking for the children of the marriage of Mahlon Guerin & Anna Doty 14 Mar 1805 Basking Ridge, Somerset, NJ. by Rev. Robert Finley.

Mahlon Guerin b. 1782 Morristown, Morris, NJ. d. 27 Oct. 1812 Romulus, Seneca, NY. wife Anna Doty b. 4th May 1785 Basking Ridge, Somerset, NJ. d.30 Nov 1871 Varick, Seneca, NY. Anna daughter of Skillman Doty & Hannah Hayden of Basking Ridge, Somerset, NJ & Romulus, Seneca, NY.

Mahlon & Anna relocated to Seneca county, NY after their marriage but when is unknown. 1810 Census of Romulus, Seneca, NY shows them there with 3 children under the age of 10 years: 2 sons and 1 daughter.

Mahlon's father, Vincent Guerin died in 1828 in Morristown, Morris, NJ. His will states that Mahlon is deceased and he names two children for Mahlon: Ludlow and Azubah.

The 1810 census could be wrong. Did one son die?

Grandson of Mahlon lists his fathers name on marriage application as Anthony. Was Ludlow named Ludlow Anthony or were the two sons in the 1810 census Ludlow and Anthony? Anthony listed in 1840 Census in Washington Co., PA.

Another interesting thing: Mahlon b. a Guerin in NJ. In NY he is recorded as Mahlon GURIN, even on his tombstone.
Anthony in Washington co., PA is listed as GURIN. His sons use the name Geurin/Guerin.

Can anyone help me to find these children? Were any born in NJ? Would records of Rev. Finley or the Basking Ridge, Presbyterian church have any info on births or baptisms?

Proving this line will take me clear back to the Mayflower and also to become member of D.A.R. Would so like to make the connecting link. Any help would be so appreciated.

Blessings,
Judy
