HI I am researching the Peters family (tough surname) They originated in Mecklenburg Germany, and ended up in Somerset sometime between 1860 and 1870 ,census records list them in 1880 Raritan, Somerset, New Jersey,
1900 Branchburg Township, Somerset, New Jersey
1910 Rariton Middlesex but in the 1870's they lived in Neshanic station
