Now, 1 Shadowbrook Lane, Liberty Corner, Basking Ridge, New Jersey 07920 and called "Phareloch Castle". Briefly also "Chartwell Manor" before that school's removal to Mendham, N.J. It was orginally built in the 1920's by NYC "scientific advertiser", Wm. H. N. Beatty (d 1931 at his "Castle Utophia"). In the early 1950's I was a two-year boarding student there at headmaster Dr. Robert Clifton "Tony" Lumpkin's, "Woodcastle School for Boys". Woodcastle was featured as a "Ghost Castle", 1981, on Tim Kettle's "That's Incredible" TV show; Allan Lansbourg Productions, project 321-144. Seek others associated the various "castles". Mr. Beatty's widow, Mrs. Sarah C. Beatty (remember her twice per year visits with man with black patch over eye (brother-in-law?); they always stayed for dinner at the "adult's table"). James A. Miller, Jr., Southport, N.C. 28461-7420;
