The Doris Duke Estate is just south of Somerville and Raritan, New Jersey. It's a big estate. There is a main entrance on Route 206 South just south of the Raritan River. The main grounds are fenced and patrolled by a private 'police' force. Parts of it you can drive through. Lots of deer. From October to May [I think] you can tour the green houses.
