james askins b1796 during 1850 census of Salem co. he was living in upper penns neck twp as a laborer with a young wife and 4 children. eleven yr old lydia from his first marriage.he lived in sculltown upper penns neck in1860 census. was still living inupn twp in1870 census with his wife, son michael and daughterinlaw julia ann

michaelk askins was boen in upn in 1849 was living with wife mother ann and children. his first wife julia ann duff
was my great grandmother. when julia i asume died michael married anna d pierson in emanuel methodist church in 1890.

michael and julias second daughter was sarah elizabeth askins my grandmother.
