I am searching for the family of James Craig who enlisted in the Army 1820...it appears that he was stationed at Ft. Scott Georgia...enlistement records state that he was from Salem County, New Jersey.

I am the ggg granddaughter of James Craig that was living in Louisiana as early as 1827, his wife was named Mary and she was from North Carolina and he was from New Jersey. Their children were James, William, Nathaniel, Rebecca & Lorena.

Please contact me at restess47@aol.com if you have a missing James in your New Jersey Craig family.

Ruth Craig Estess
