The Emmanuel Methodist Episcopal Cemetery of Penns Grove, NJ, volunteer cleanup/ restoration project has been underway since Spring 2004. In addition to the cleanup, we are also updating the records of deeds and burials (surviving records for the non-profit EME Cemetery Company are incomplete). This cemetery, established 1887, is located across the street from the Emmanuel United Methodist Church and does not belong to the church (an older burial ground does surround the church building and is maintained by the church).
Currently, you can find the EMEC website at:

The website includes a surname list, a plot map of the cemetery, some images (these will be changed periodically), local/ family history, and veteran burials. As records are updated, items and images will be added.
